Ink Production & Packaging Technician

Location: South Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Industry: Chemical Manufacturing (CIJ Inks)
Position Summary
Ink Production & Packaging Technician

We are a chemical manufacturing company producing Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) inks and are adding a hands-on team member to support ink blending, production, and packaging. This role focuses on safely producing ink batches ranging from 25-120 gallons while following established procedures and quality standards. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Ink Production & Packaging Technician
  • Produce CIJ ink batches (25-120 gallons) according to batch tickets and formulas
  • Perform ink and chemical blending using lab scales and manufacturing equipment
  • Accurately measure, weigh, and document raw materials
  • Package finished ink products according to specifications
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of provided PPE
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas
  • Assist with receiving, staging, and handling chemical materials
  • Perform basic math calculations for batching and adjustments
  • Support other production or warehouse tasks as needed
  • Communicate effectively within a small team environment
Required Qualifications
Ink Production & Packaging Technician
  • Chemical manufacturing or ink production experience preferred
  • Hands-on batch mixing or blending experience
  • Ability to accurately use lab scales and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE for the full shift (PPE provided)
  • Basic math skills for production calculations
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full production schedule
  • Able to lift containers and work on your feet in a production setting

  • Experience with CIJ inks or similar chemical products
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be trained
