Innovation Programs Specialist

Primary Purpose: Provides leadership, coordination, and support for districtwide innovative programs, professional learning opportunities,

strategic

partnerships,

and

experiential

learning

initiatives.

This

position

is

responsible

for

researching,

developing,

implementing,

and

evaluating

programs

that

enhance

student

learning

and

educator

effectiveness

through

innovation,

environmental

education,

place-based

learning,

and

community

collaboration.

The

specialist

supports

grant-funded

initiatives,

coordinates

district

partnerships,

and

promotes

the

effective

use

of

the

Outdoor

Learning

Center

as

an

extension

of

classroom

instruction. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university Master's

degree

preferred Valid Texas Teaching Certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of instructional best practices, adult learning theory, and educational innovation Strong understanding of program implementation and experiential learning practices Ability to research, develop, and manage innovative educational programs Experience in researching and supporting grant application processes Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills Organizational and project management skills Ability to collect, analyze, and report program data Ability to build collaborative relationships with staff and community partners/organizations Strong

communication

Identify

emerging

educational

trends,

innovative

practices,

opportunities

to

enhance

teaching

and

learning.

2.

Support

the

implementation

pilot

programs,

experiential

learning

opportunities,

and

innovative

instructional

models

Collaborate

district

departments

specialty/magnet

schools

Support

Professional Learning 7.

Coordinate

and

support

districtwide

professional

learning

opportunities

aligned

to

district

initiatives

and

strategic

priorities.

Facilitate

workshops,

academies,

conferences,

leadership

development

sessions,

and

summer

learning

opportunities.

9.

Collaborate

with

district

departments

to

design

and

deliver

high-quality

professional

learning

experiences.

10.

Monitor

and

evaluate

professional

learning

effectiveness

through

participant

feedback

and

program

outcomes.

Maintain

records,

communication,

logistics,

and

reporting

related

to

professional

learning

initiatives.

Cultivate

maintain

partnerships

with

community

organizations,

nonprofits,

higher

education

institutions,

governmental

agencies,

and

business

partners.

Serve

as

district

liaison

for

innovation,

environmental

education,

and

experiential

learning

partnerships.

18.

Coordinate

collaborative

opportunities

that

expand

student

learning

and

support

district

initiatives.

19.

Represent

the

district

in

meetings,

events,

and

partnership

activities

related

to

innovation

programming.

Program Evaluation and Data Analysis 20.

Collect,

analyze,

and

report

data

related

to

innovation

programs,

professional

learning,

partnerships,

and

experiential

learning

initiatives.

Evaluate

program

effectiveness

and

recommend

improvements

based

on

outcomes

and

stakeholder

feedback.

communicate

program
