    The Associate Pharmacy Technician performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system.

    The Pharmacy Technician assists professional pharmacy staff by performing routine duties associated with medication preparation and distribution, inventory and preparation of sterile products.

    The Senior Pharmacy Technician performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS). Has advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.

    Associate Pharmacy Technician

    Required Qualifications:

    • H.S. Diploma or GED
    • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program approved by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy
    • Work experience in a retail pharmacy setting

    Associate Pharmacy Technician, Salary Range: Spokane (Spokane, WA) Min: $24.58, Max: $38.92

    Pharmacy Technician

    Required Qualifications:

    • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Decentralized hospital pharmacy
    • Professional affiliations
    • Hospital pharmacy experience
    • Broad hospital work experience

    Pharmacy Technician, Salary Range: Spokane (Spokane, WA) Min: $24.58, Max: $38.92

    Senior Pharmacy Technician

    Required Qualifications:

    • H.S. Diploma or GED
    • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
    • Minimum of 2 years (> 4160 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and PTCB certification
    • 3 years (> 6240 hours) of hospital pharmacy if technician does not have PTCB certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Graduation from a Pharmacy Tech program approved by the WA State Board of Pharmacy
    • Specialty certification (e.g., ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable by role and state
    • Advanced PTCB certificate (e.g., compounded sterile products, advanced certified pharmacy technician, medication history certificate, controlled substances)
    • Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)

    Senior Pharmacy Technician, Salary Range: Spokane (Spokane, WA) Min: $25.84, Max: $40.89

    Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
