Inpatient C/A Psychiatry in Wichita, KS | Part-time Weekend Cover

Location: Wichita, KS

Hours: 16-20hrs/wk

POSITION OVERVIEW:

KVC Wichita is seeking a board certified Psychiatrist that has experience and clinical comfort managing a Child & Adolescent for a weekend coverage role. The position is ideal for clinicians that cannot commit to a full-time weekday role and require schedule flexibility or wanting to supplement income.

• 1 or more weekends/month
• No oversight requirements
• Strong, tenured support staff
• No hold paperwork required
• Hourly or daily rate negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide quality-driven care in an inpatient, youth setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage ongoing treatment for Child & Adolescent population, ages 4-18.
• Guide, collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of MAs, Nurses, LCSWs, and Techs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in KS required or ability to obtain.\
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
