Employment Type:Part timeShift:Rotating ShiftDescription:Come join our Pharmacy team at Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!Position PurposeSupports pharmacists in all aspects of pharmacy activities. This includes maintaining Pyxis stock levels by loading and refilling medications including narcotics for all in-patients. Prepares and compounds neonatal oral liquids, and other extemporaneous products. Packages and distributes drugs and sterile products.What you will doPerform general pharmacy duties by assisting pharmacists with medication dispensing duties including deliveries, checking stock levels and picking medications.Answer telephones, assist nurses trouble-shooting Pyxis questions and drawer maintenanceInspect assigned nursing units for proper drug storage, stability and expiration dates as well as maintaining proper drug reliability in the pharmacyMaintain records of orders, processes patient charges and collects productivity statisticsMinimum QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent.
