Inpatient Neurology- NP/PA

Join the Parkview Neuro-Hospitalist APP Team! The PPG Neurosciences team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurology/Neurohospitalist team of physicians and APPs to serve our patients with diverse neurologic needs within the communities we serve. An interested candidate should have the ability to collaborate with intra-interdepartmental team members as well as community organizations or members. A qualified candidate would have the ability to multitask and utilize critical thinking skills to best serve our patients. Schedule and Responsibilities Monday-Friday with dedicated IP Neurohospitalist rounds in the AM, and OP Neurology clinic follow up in the PM. Generous Time Off and Volunteer time off CME Allowance and Professional Stipend Job Requirements for Nurse Practitioner Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional) Current or pending state license for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization Minimum 1 year of experience as an APP preferred. Job Requirements for Physician Assistant Graduate of a Masters degree program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant Program (ARC-PA). Current or pending state license Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred. Certifications as required by specialty which may be but are not limited to: BLSthrough the American Heart Association (AHA) Will need core stroke competencies, along with NIH training.
