Baptist Health Care, in partnership with The Andrews Institute and Baptist Medical Group, is actively recruiting an Inpatient Neurosurgeon to support a Level II Trauma Center in Pensacola, Florida.
This opportunity offers a broad, full-service inpatient neurosurgical practice with a strong emphasis on acute care and trauma. The role includes single-hospital coverage, robust APP support, and a sustainable 7 on / 7 off scheduleideal for neurosurgeons who value decisive, high-acuity clinical work within a well-supported, integrated system. The position is best suited for neurosurgeons seeking meaningful trauma involvement and full-scope inpatient care without the fragmentation of multi-site coverage or heavy elective outpatient demands.
Position Highlights
- Guaranteed base salary: $700,000
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Inpatient only practice

- Neurotrauma
- Cranial emergencies
- Acute and urgent spinal pathology

- Implementing Epic EMR early 2028
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced Physician and Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Comfortable with acute care neurosurgery and trauma call
- Interested in a full scope inpatient practice rather than elective outpatient surgery
