Pharmacist - Inpatient Hospital - RPh
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: 8 Hours / Days
Contract: 13 Weeks
Training: Provided
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring for a Hospital Pharmacist position in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This is an outstanding full time opportunity with one of our well-respected Hospital clients! Description:
Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.
Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.
Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.
Position Requirements:
SC State Pharmacist license in good standing
Knowledge of general hospital pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy practice
Ability to work well in a team setting
EPIC experience
Communication skills for:
1.Gathering prior to admission home medication list from patient, family, or pharmacy
2.Discharge counseling with patients/families
Clinical knowledge for:
1.Antimicrobial Stewardship
a.Interpretation of culture results for recommendations
b.Knowledge of UTI, pneumonia, SSTI, etc. for recommendations
2.Pharmacokinetic Dosing Management/Monitoring
Anticoagulation Dosing Management/Monitoring
We are currently offering:
$60 - $76/HR DOE
