Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Facility: Ascension St Vincent Indianapolis Hospital

Department/Specialty: Pharmacy

Schedule: Full time, days with on call rotations

Supervise the daily activities of the pharmacy staff. May perform the duties of a Pharmacist.

• Schedule and assign daily work assignments for pharmacy staff.
• Train, coach, and evaluate associates on performance expectations, and apply progressive discipline when appropriate. Participate in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
• Act as liaison between department and other hospital departments, physicians and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience required.

• Inpatient pharmacy/pharmacist experience is required
