Utilize the physical therapy process to deliver comprehensive patient care in an inpatient setting.
Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department and outpatient setting as needed.
Carry out individualized programs that encompass assessment, treatment planning, implementation, education, and ongoing communication, all aimed at maximizing each patient's progress toward achieving functional goals.
Evaluate patients recovering from surgery, trauma, or acute illness, creating tailored rehabilitation strategies to enhance mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, provide hands-on therapy and educate patients and their families on effective recovery techniques.
Meticulously document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and optimal care within the unique challenges of a rural healthcare environment.
Assists in the decision making for patient admission, discharge planning, and if further placement may be required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. (preferred)
Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
Current Physical Therapist license in Vermont in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $38.80 - $53.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
