Inpatient Psychiatrist - PRN/Weekend

Korzen Health is proud to partner with leading behavioral health hospitals in the Jacksonville, Florida area to seek a PRN/Weekend Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for flexible weekend work, supplemental income, or a part-time commitment without a full-time schedule.

Position Overview
This PRN/weekend coverage role offers both W-2 and 1099 options, with flexible scheduling based on facility needs and physician availability. The position covers adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatry, including consultations, evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with an experienced midlevel support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric psychiatric patients
• Conduct psychiatric consultations and follow-up evaluations
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management
• Collaborate with nursing, therapists, social workers, and other members of the treatment team
• Provide clinical supervision and support to midlevel providers
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination of ongoing care
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Florida medical license
• DEA registration
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
