Job Summary
We are seeking an In-Plant Technician to join our client’s team. You will handle ink dispensing and mixing, perform quality checks, replace drum materials, store inks properly, and record production data.
Job Description
- Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
- Provide some press side technical support, mainly color toning.
- Maintain detailed production and QC records.
- Identify a basic level of rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
- Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following standard procedures.
Skills Required
- 1+ years industry experience
- Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
- This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Education
Additional Requirements
- Shift hours: Shift hours - 12 hours; days will alternate every other week Training can be on night shift or day shift on a variable schedule
- Train on: Shift 3
Pay rate
- $20 - $22 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
