Job Description

Overview:

The Insert Inspection Lead works closely with the Line Supervisor and Scheduling to ensure all components are being inspected correctly, on time and efficiently. The Insert Inspection Lead may perform insert inspection, operate inspection equipment, complete paperwork and release inspected inventory.  Work with all supervision and employees to ensure that cGMPs, and Praxis’ SOPs, policies and work instructions are being followed.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Inspection lines are operating properly and efficiently.
  • Assist Line Supervisor with the following:
    • Daily management of the insert inspection technicians.
    • Ensure all inspections are done properly and in a timely manner.
    • Completing paperwork.
    • Account for all inventory assigned to the line both in process and at the end of the job run.
    • Issuing inventory tags and releasing inspected components.
  • Operate and set-up inspection equipment.
  • Troubleshoot inspection equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required by Praxis's PM program.
  • Monitor clean up and change overs to clear and clean the line.
  • Communicate any problems or concerns with the Lead, Line Supervisor and/or Shift Supervisor.
  • Understand controls on inspection equipment and process.
  • Maintain efficient productivity rates while complying with safety, quality and GMP practices.
  • Responsible to ensure products meet qualityand efficiency standards set by the company. 
  • Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Instills a sense of quality through modeled quality behaviors and mindset.
  • Ensures proper PPE’s and Safety procedures are followed.
  • Flexibly works other shifts, shifts maybe 8, 10 or 12 hours as needed.
  • Perform cartooning, labeling, de-palletizing, dump hopper, bundling, skid bundling and shrink wrapping when no inspections are needed.

 

Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Praxis Packaging Solutions.

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Pervious work experience and leadership experience, preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ work experience, preferred.
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision required.
  • Ability to organize priorities and workload required.
Pay Range: USD $23.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
