Inside/Outside Sales

B2B team members are crucial to the success of M&D supply. Along with our sales people they are the “face” of the company. B2B team members cover a lot of ground, consistently providing support to their customers and co-workers. The B2B team member must coordinate and maintain the activities of generating Business to Business sales, while building and maintaining customer relationships. They make hundreds of customers happy every day by providing helpful, knowledgeable customer service that clearly differentiates us from our competition.  

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Seek, greet, engage, and assist customers, identifying B2B customers in house.
• Generate sales leads from potential new B2B customers.
• Create and maintain B2B customer relationships.
• Answer sales calls in house.
• Accompany outside sales on customer visits as needed.
• Generate special orders, quotes, orders and estimates.
•  Pick, pull and pack will call/delivery orders for B2B customers.
• Establish sourcing of products from vendors.
• Learn B2B customer base and understand crucial buying influences in the area.
• Monitor competition’s pricing product assortment, services, fees and marketing efforts to ensure B2B program is competitive.
• Fill in for cashiers and management when business conditions dictate.
• Assist with cashier drops and buying of change as needed. Assist with cashier-related issues when appropriate.
• Approve returns, defectives, voids, and other overrides as needed.
• Answer manager radio pages as needed.
• Assist with closing duties when working the closing shift.
•  Assist with new employee shadowing program: train and mentor new employees on product knowledge, sales skills, customer service and technology.
• Make deliveries when directed.
• Maintain minimum RLC (Ace Rewards) each month as required by the company.
• Complete all assigned tasks daily.
• Attend store meetings monthly.
• “On site” attendance must fall within the company standards as outlined in the handbook.
