We're looking for a talented Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll manage a defined territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales and rental opportunities from start to finish. You'll collaborate closely with our internal teams to address customer needs quickly, manage credit and delivery concerns, and use your selling and negotiating skills to close business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply a consultative, solution-based sales approach to meet the short- and long-term needs of municipal, industrial, and environmental clients, increasing customer lifetime value.
  • Manage an assigned sales territory and customer accounts across multiple water quality markets.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and leadership to address onsite customer needs, resolve challenges, and drive growth.
  • Generate and qualify sales and rental leads, managing them through the full sales cycle while building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines in Salesforce.com, meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
  • Partner with Technical Support, Service, Rental, Production, and Product teams to resolve technical, quality, or delivery issues.
  • Stay up to date on In-Situ products, OEM equipment, and industry trends.
  • Meet assigned KPIs and performance goals.
  • Handle account administration, including invoicing, customer inquiries, and database management.
  • Provide Voice of Customer and Voice of Sales feedback to internal teams for product and service improvement.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3-5 years in sales or technical account management (water quality industry preferred).
Skills:
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic internal and external relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and self-motivated.
  • Effective time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Business Central, and Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Skilled in navigating complex technical sales opportunities within the water quality industry.
  • Proven ability to prospect, grow adoption, and manage existing accounts.

TOTAL REWARDS

Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data and internal comps.

Salary Range: $55,000-65,000

Additional Compensation: Participation in a Company-sponsored variable compensation plan.
