Pay: $60,000.00 per year Job description: Industry leader in stainless steel cable and mesh systems specializing in unique architectural solutions for safety applications and green walls. We manage hundreds of projects each month throughout North America catering to top architectural design firms, offering support and solutions throughout their design and specification processes. Our clients primarily consist of general contractors, landscapers, metal fabricators, and several government and transportation authorities. Project applications range from rooftop-enclosures and horizontal fall protection, to railing-infills and zoo enclosures. We design, produce, and deliver our (foreign and US-Melt) stainless steel cable and mesh systems to fit any budget or project demand. As we continue to grow and scale the business, we need an Inside Sales Representative/Estimator to round out our team and support our growing clientele. Summary role The Inside Sales Representative/Estimator is a vital member of the Sales and Business Development teams, reporting directly to the CEO, and will help shape and refine the way customers interact with our company and products. As the customers' primary point of contact, you will provide exceptional support through your ability to empathize, troubleshoot, and communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires an in-depth understanding of architectural materials, product specifications, and construction drawings to ensure our products are designed and produced to meet the needs and expectations of our customers. You will bridge the gap between specification and installation by working directly with specifiers and local installers in your assigned territory to bring projects over the finish line, often juggling multi-phase and multi-line projects simultaneously. With the help of our Sales Support team, you will have the opportunity to provide solutions to customers and help grow the business. Key Responsibilities - Embrace the role as the main point of contact for customers in your territory, responding to all inquiries including product pricing, availability, order status, and basic technical questions. - Work on prospecting and capturing new customers to increase sales, meet sales goals, and develop new business. - Build relationships with architectural clients, metal fabricators, installers, and GC’s - Participate in local and national trade events, create customer presentations, plan, execute and participate in various networking events. - Immerse yourself in our product assortment to elevate your technical knowledge, allowing you to troubleshoot product-related issues, and guide customers accordingly throughout various stages of their projects. - Handle claims and customer concerns professionally and approach these situations as an opportunity to shine. - Work with the Sales Support team to tackle order intricacies, process orders, returns and exchanges, and facilitate the shipping of samples and marketing collateral, ensuring all transactions are seamless. - Collaborate across departments including marketing, sales support, production, and operations, to address customer needs and ensure cross-departmental communication is seamless. - This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM CST. Skills and Qualifications Must Have - At least 2 years of building material experience or equivalent in a sales or business development role preferred. Preferably in steel and cable manufacturing, metal fencing and panels, or metal fabrication environment. - Ability to interpret project specifications and various forms of drawings. - Strong understanding of construction materials, system assemblies, codes, and installation principles. - Excellent communication skills as you will be in close contact with leads, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. - Excellent organizational skills, outgoing personality, and strong presentation abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD - As we are still growing you need to be flexible as our processes are continuously improving. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to assist customers with a positive attitude. - Growth-focused mindset and willingness to learn about product changes and industry trends. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address customer issues effectively. - Proficiency in using ERP, CRM, ticketing tools, and other customer support software. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Adaptability to handle changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
