We are a high-end, turnkey design/build remodeling firm specializing in complex renovations, additions, and whole-home transformations. For more than 35 years, we have delivered exceptional design, craftsmanship, and a premium client experience throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley.

Our remodeling projects are highly customized and refined. They require a disciplined, process-driven approach from the first contact through project completion.  We operate as a collaborative team that values professionalism, clear communication, accountability, and attention to detail.

We have structured our systems and allocated resources to protect each team member's time. Every team member directly contributes to the success of each project. Our goal is simple: consistently deliver the highest-quality projects and an unparalleled client experience. We are a stable, established company with a strong reputation in the region and a commitment to continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

Location Requirement:
This is an Emmaus, PA-based role. Candidates must be able to work from our Emmaus office at least four days per week. Limited remote flexibility may be considered after on-boarding, based on performance and role development. This role is not designed as a remote position.

The Opportunity:
This is not a typical inside sales role.

As the Inside Sales Associate / Client Development Associate, you will serve as the first point of contact for new client inquiries and play a critical role in shaping the quality of our project pipeline. In many cases, you will be the first impression of our company, helping homeowners make informed decisions about significant, long-term investments in their homes.

You will:
  • Guide prospective clients through structured discovery conversations.
  • Evaluate project fit.
  • Determine which opportunities move forward.
  • Nurture relationships with clients and prospects in support of marketing activities.
  • Support sales and marketing follow-up activities that help Penn maintain strong relationships with qualified prospects and past clients.
Top performers in this role:
  • Build trust quickly with prospective clients.
  • Exercise strong judgment in evaluating project fit.
  • Consistently advance well-qualified opportunities into consultation.
  • Comfortably guide conversations around project fit, including when a project is not a strong fit.
  • Reinforce marketing efforts by identifying well-aligned prospects and promising future opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, structured processes, and helping homeowners navigate complex decisions. You will play a meaningful role in shaping the client experience from the very first interaction, setting the tone for the entire project journey.

What You’ll Do:
  • Respond promptly to new inquiries by phone, email, and web form.
  • Conduct structured discovery calls.
  • Evaluate project fit based on scope, budget, timeline, geography, and alignment with our design/build process.
  • Guide prospects through appropriate next steps, including consultation, future follow-up, referral, or a respectful explanation when Penn is not the right fit.
  • Manage detailed lead engagement activities, notes, tasks, and follow-up steps in HubSpot CRM.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records that help the team understand lead quality, source, timing, and future potential.
  • Identify which prospects and opportunities should receive future nurturing, follow-up, or marketing communication.
  • Support lead conversion reporting by tracking qualification outcomes and pipeline movement, with the opportunity to take greater ownership over time.
  • Coordinate discovery calls, consultations, follow-up activities, and internal hand-offs with the Project Development Team.
  • Prepare clear, high-quality hand-offs for well-qualified opportunities.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Prospects feel informed, respected, and professionally guided.
  • The pipeline is clean, organized, and predictable.
  • The team trusts your qualification decisions.
  • High-quality opportunities consistently move forward into consultation.
  • Leads that are not ready today are properly categorized for future follow-up.
  • HubSpot data helps the team understand which lead sources, project types, and opportunities show the strongest future potential.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in client-facing, sales, administrative coordination, or service-based roles.
  • Strong communication skills (written + phone).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, process-driven.
  • Comfortable discussing budgets and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in client-facing, sales, or service-based roles.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM.
  • Background in remodeling, real estate, design, or client services.
  • Experience working with discerning or high-expectation clients .
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary:  $55,000–$65,000 (depending on experience, qualifications and role-fit).
  • Performance Incentives:  Additional $5,000–$10,000+ annually.
  • Paid time off.
  • Health benefits available with employer contribution; details discussed during the interview process.
  • Expected total compensation: $60,000–$75,000+ depending on performance.

Professional Development & Training:
We take training and professional development seriously. The person selected for this role will receive structured on-boarding, coaching, and support in Penn’s design/build process, HubSpot CRM, client communication standards, project qualification, and lead management workflow.

This is a strong opportunity for a motivated professional who wants to build deeper skills in client development, consultative sales, CRM-based lead management, and high-end residential remodeling. We are looking for someone who can grow with the role over time, not someone who is expected to know everything on day one.

Growth Path:
This role is designed as a long-term position with a clear path into higher-level client-facing and sales responsibilities for the right candidate.

High-performing candidates may progress into:
  • Client consultations (Initial Site Visits).
  •  Project development and sales responsibilities.
  • Expanded compensation tied to project outcomes.
Advancement is based on demonstrated performance, consistency, and the ability to take on increasing responsibility.

We are seeking a single candidate for this role and are focused on finding the right long-term fit.
