Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Associate supports the operational and sales goals of the branch by initiating phone contact to generate sales, provide exemplary customer service, and manage after-sale support to ensure long-term, profitable customer relationships.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as internal sales support to help the team achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Partner effectively with sales support team to drive area/territory coverage and maintain positive relationships
  • Conduct telephone cold calling and take inbound sales calls to develop new customers
  • Generate, develop, maintain, and grow new business while ensuring high customer satisfaction amongst current customers
  • Work closely with dispatch, customer service, and sales support team as required or requested
  • Travel in support of sales and training meetings, customer site visits and trade shows
  • Provide account maintenance, as needed
Skills We Are Seeking::
  • 1-3 years’ wholesale or retail experience preferred
  • Experience in the landscape, hardscape, forestry, nursery, or irrigation industry is a plus
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including correct grammatical usage and persuasive copy and style
  • Experience with CRM programs or software is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
