Inside Sales & Client Relationship Specialist Insurance | Local Office

The Buckman Agency is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join our Ohio office as an Inside Sales & Client Relationship Specialist.

This role combines sales with client relationship management. You will work with our established client base to conduct insurance reviews, identify changing needs, uncover additional coverage opportunities, and recommend solutions that help protect our clients and their families.

We are looking for someone who is confident communicating with people, motivated by goals and income potential, and comfortable taking initiative. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships while also recognizing opportunities to grow accounts and ask for the business.

Insurance experience is not required. We are willing to train and support licensing for the right candidate who brings strong sales ability, work ethic, and a desire to build a long-term career.

Salary Range: $45000.00 - $55000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Proactively connect with existing clients to conduct insurance and account reviews.

Identify coverage gaps, changing needs, cross-sell opportunities, and additional ways to protect clients.

Quote, present, and sell personal lines insurance products.

Turn everyday client conversations into sales opportunities by asking thoughtful questions and recommending appropriate solutions.

Build strong, long-term relationships that contribute to client retention, referrals, and account growth.

Consistently follow up with clients and prospective opportunities through phone, text, and email.

Work with clients considering cancellation or experiencing payment concerns to identify potential solutions and retain business when possible.

Help onboard new customers and ensure they have a strong introduction to our agency.

Assist clients with policy and coverage questions while identifying opportunities for additional protection.

Maintain an organized pipeline and take ownership of follow-up and results.

Work toward individual sales, retention, and activity goals.

Participate in ongoing training and coaching to continually improve insurance knowledge and sales performance.

Strong sales mindset with a desire to achieve goals and increase earning potential.

Confident and comfortable initiating conversations with clients by phone.

Ability to build relationships while also recognizing and pursuing sales opportunities.

Previous sales, account management, banking, automotive, wireless, mortgage, hospitality, or other relationship-based sales experience is preferred.

Previous insurance experience is a plus, but not required.

Must be willing and able to obtain the required Ohio insurance license. Licensing support and training will be provided for the right candidate.
