Title: Inside Sales Coordinator II

Introduction
Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator II to serve as the primary connection between customers and the sales team. This role will support the full order lifecycle, including customer inquiries, quotations, order processing, fulfillment tracking, shipping documentation, and proactive customer communication. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and provide a high level of customer service
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers
  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding orders, products, pricing, shipments, invoices, and service questions
  • Proactively follow up on leads based on days of supply
  • Oversee quote development to ensure efficient customer turnaround
  • Enter and maintain orders, review purchase details, track fulfillment, and manage changes or expedited requests
  • Monitor delivery timelines and help ensure on-time fulfillment
  • Develop and discuss potential inventory strategies and long-term business strategies
  • Monitor customer inventory targets, percentage of business, and days of supply
  • Understand customer needs to support satisfaction and repeat business
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation as needed
  • Maintain procure-to-pay and supplier-management platforms as required by customers
  • Work closely with marketing and outside sales teams to support campaigns and follow up on marketing leads
  • Share market insights and customer feedback with internal teams to improve strategies
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding delays, changes, or service updates
  • Participate in training, system upgrades, and cross-functional projects focused on improving the customer experience

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP software
  • Experience with paper machine equipment or OEM manufacturing
  • Technical school, college-level degree, or equivalent experience
