About the Role: Shades By Matiss is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service / Order Entry specialist to join our team in Mountainse, NJ. This is a dynamic role where you'll be the heartbeat of our customer experience — handling inquiries, processing orders, and driving sales from the inside. Responsibilities:
Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and efficiency
Process and manage customer orders accurately through order entry systems
Support inside sales efforts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery
Resolve customer complaints, issues, and returns in a timely and satisfactory manner
Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM or order management systems
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order entry roles
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with order management systems, CRM software, or similar tools
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Customer-first mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
Experience in window coverings, home décor, or a related industry is a plus
