Customer Account Manager (Manufacturing & Distribution)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-Office / Onsite)
Location: LITHIA SPRINGS (Thornton Road / Lithia Springs / Fulton Industrial area)
Compensation: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Customer Account Manager for an amazing, growing client. Operating directly out of the front corporate office, you will serve as the primary liaison for an assigned category of business-to-business (B2B) clients.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume operational role requiring a high sense of urgency, advanced multi-tasking abilities, and the capacity to thrive under pressure. This position heavily relies on complex data management, advanced Microsoft Excel workflows, and daily navigation of proprietary ERP enterprise software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage, support, and retain a specific category of established corporate accounts.

  • Order Management: Accurately enter, track, and confirm complex sales orders utilizing our internal ERP system.

  • B2B Client Support: Serve as the professional voice of the company, handling client inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, shipment dates, inventory availability, and backorders.

  • Digital Platform Support: Assist corporate clients navigating the online ordering system; support website management and regular maintenance as needed.

  • Logistics & Inventory Support: Prepare specialized documentation for shipments, assist with uniform order fulfillment, and actively participate in physical inventory counts to maintain record accuracy.

  • Administrative Excellence: Manage massive data sets using Excel spreadsheets with extreme precision and a zero-error tolerance.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7–10+ years of recent, verifiable front-office administrative or account coordination experience within Distribution, Manufacturing, or Logistics.

  • Software Proficiency: Daily hands-on experience navigating ERP systems is required (SAGE, AS400, or IBM i are highly preferred).

  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer literacy with intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to manage heavy spreadsheets).

  • Communication: Exceptional, polished, and highly professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work Style: Exceptional math skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to work completely independently without close supervision.

  • Background: Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify). Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
