A Dothan, Alabama charter bus transportation company seeking a motivated and customer focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and has strong organizational and communication skills. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a key role in helping clients plan transportation services while supporting our operations team with contracts, driver documentation, and customer follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with transportation inquiries
- Follow up on quotes and proposals to help convert inquiries into booked trips
- Prepare, send, and track customer contracts
- Maintain accurate customer and trip records
- Assist with driver paperwork and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and office staff
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process
- Perform general administrative and office support duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous sales, customer service, administrative, or inside sales experience preferred
- Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and basic computer applications
- Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
- Transportation, travel, or logistics experience is a plus but not required
