Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Compensation : $60,000- $70,000 target monthly incentive and full benefits This is a hybrid role, so candidates must be local to the Chicagoland area and able to work on-site as required Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with customers, quoting, processing orders, providing product information, and supporting outside sales efforts. Key Responsibilities: Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email, providing quotes, product details, and order status updates Communicate with existing and prospective customers to promote products and services Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, pricing, and product availability Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales orders, and communications in SAP, CRM and ERP systems Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services Support outside sales representatives by providing strong customer service and facilitating regular communication Monitor open orders, back-orders, and shipping issues to ensure customer satisfaction Participate in sales meetings and training to stay current with product knowledge and market trends Meet or exceed individual sales and productivity targets All other duties assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred 5 years of inside sales, customer service, or related experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP system Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Skills: Experience in steel, manufacturing, or technical product sales Familiarity with order entry systems and supply chain coordination Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision benefits401k Match & Profit SharingSTD and Life Insurance10 paid holidays plus PTOFlexible Spending Account Compensation details: 60000-70000 Yearly Salary PI50390745dfd1-25448-385046845c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
