Alera Group is looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join our growing SELECT team based in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm - joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, quoting, and closing. Conduct outbound and inbound calls to engage prospects, understand coverage needs, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Provide a consultative sales experience focused on educating clients and building long-term relationships. Prepare and deliver accurate quotes for small commercial insurance products. Follow up on leads promptly and maintain a strong pipeline through consistent outreach. Collaborate with underwriting teams to evaluate risks and position policies effectively. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, quotes, and policy activity in the CRM system. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while delivering exceptional client experience. Assist clients with policy questions during the qualification process to ensure a smooth experience. Stay current on product offerings, carrier guidelines, and industry trends.

QUALIFICATION

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Minimum 1 year of sales experience. Active P&C insurance license (required). Comfortable with phone-based outreach and client engagement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional presence with a strong sense of urgency. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively. Client-centric, consultative sales mindset. Creative problem-solver with an understanding of underwriting perspectives.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This job must be performed onsite in our Raleigh, North Carolina office. (Reasonable flexibility available)

Base salary range is $65K to $80K per year. *This role also includes sales commission as part of the overall total earnings.
