Bestway Ag is looking for our next Inside Sales person!
The Inside Sales person is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating sales opportunities, and supporting customers through the sales process. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers by responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and providing product information. The Inside Salesman works closely with outside sales representatives, production, customer service, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales growth objectives. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A Few Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Help support e-commerce day to day sales operations.
- Work directly with the Outside sales team to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner.
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
- Work directly with production to ensure parts are manufactured correctly and prioritize assembly items.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Work with both internal and external customers to gain knowledge of the inner workings of both diaphragm and plunger pumps.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
