This cold-calling marketing role involves proactively reaching out to prospective and existing customers via phone and written communication. Focusing on promoting products, answering inquiries, and guiding customers through the purchasing process. Representatives input customer interactions and sales information into Sales Force CRM (Customer Relationship Management system), ensuring accurate tracking of leads and follow-ups. The role includes identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate products or solutions, and facilitating sales transactions or referrals to the appropriate sales team members. Representatives may also coordinate with internal departments to support order fulfillment and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Prospect, contact, and qualify businesses, users, industry partners, and decision makers in your market
Make outbound cold calls and respond to inbound inquiries to promote products or services
Handle customer objections and provide solutions to close sales effectively
Conduct market research on end-user, reseller, and distribution partners
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or products
Achieve or exceed daily and monthly sales targets
Build and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent communication and follow-up
Accurately record customer interactions, sales activities, and lead information in Salesforce or other CRM systems
Collaborate with sales team members and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on promotions, policies, and competitor offerings
Provide feedback to management on customer trends, objections, and opportunities for improvement
Manage time efficiently to maximize call volume and quality
Cold call to locate independent service companies
Contact distributors to gather end-user information
Assist lead in call log totals monthly
Main point of contact for independent servicers/end user requiring complex recall work and Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
Required
3+ year's experience in an office environment in high volume call center environments and making Cold Calls for Sales
Excellent customer service skills; interpersonal skills with ability to diffuse negative situations
Communication & Collaboration with team members and customers – ability to communicate ideas to instruct, inform, persuade, or motivate co-workers
Digital skills: Technology, Media & the Internet - MS Office proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and skills with word processing, data management and presentations
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using CRM systems; Salesforce experience required
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving - inductive and deductive reasoning, analysis and interpretation to generate possible solutions and responses to problems
Effective organizational and time management skills
Ability to interpret and follow work instructions and company policies and procedures
Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.
