Inside Sales Representative – Loading Dock Equipment
Inside Sales Representative focused on loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, vehicle restraints, seals/shelters, bumpers, accessories, parts, and replacement equipment.

Location: Nashville / Franklin TN
Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales, preparing quotations, following up on outstanding opportunities, and developing customer relationships for commercial and industrial loading dock equipment.
This position works with existing customers, dealers, prospects, contractors, and end users to identify their loading dock equipment needs and provide appropriate product and service solutions.
The Inside Sales Representative is expected to actively manage opportunities from the initial customer inquiry through quotation, follow-up, order processing and delivery to the customer.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is sales-oriented rather than strictly customer-service-oriented. They should enjoy talking with customers, identifying needs, following up consistently, asking for orders, and developing repeat business.
Quote Follow-Up Responsibilities
Quote follow-up is a major responsibility of this position.
The representative should routinely review all outstanding quotations and contact customers to determine whether the project is still active, whether pricing or product changes are required, who the decision-maker is, when the customer expects to purchase.
Each follow-up should be documented so management has an accurate picture of the company's sales pipeline.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, construction, or building products
• Familiarity with loading dock equipment, warehouse solutions, or material handling is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and consultative selling skills
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
