Job title: Inside Sales Manager 
Department: Sales 
Reports to: Director of Sales
Type: Full Time in Office Mon-Fri  8am to 5pm  
Location: Mayzo Headquarters in Suwanee, GA 
 
Position Summary: 
Mayzo is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role responsible for managing accounts and supporting sales strategies and activities. In our collaborative, team-oriented environment, this position will work closely with sales, operations, quality, and supply chain teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular phone and email communication, aligned with regional account plans. 
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding product offerings within existing accounts and re-engaging inactive customers. 
  • Respond to inbound leads (web, email, and phone) to develop new business and grow existing accounts. 
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support business planning and identify risks and opportunities. 
  • Deliver year-over-year gross profit growth within the assigned territory through:
    • Expansion of existing products 
    • Introduction of new products 
    • Development of new customer relationships 
  • Gather and analyze customer insights (including end-use applications and future plans) and provide recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent industry experience (15+ years) may be considered in lieu of a technical degree. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical, plant, purchasing, and commercial stakeholders. 
  • Deep knowledge of target markets and experience with additive chemistry; prior experience in polymer additives is required. 
  • Proven experience in sales or marketing within the chemical or materials industry. 
  • Demonstrated success managing key, corporate, or global accounts.
