Inside Sales Representative
Location: Garland, TX
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $25 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for bonus and commission upon conversion to permanent employment


Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative for a full-time, onsite position in Garland, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the metals industry.
The Inside Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, managing orders, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize profitability.

  • Communicate order updates, delivery timelines, and project progress to customers.

  • Collaborate with outside sales and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Track and report on key account metrics such as sales performance, forecasts, and renewal rates.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for internal review.

  • Manage challenging customer requests or escalations with professionalism and problem-solving skills.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • 2–3 years of experience in sales (inside or outside sales).

  • Experience in the metals industry preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of order entry processes and procedures preferred.

  • Proven ability to build relationships, manage multiple accounts, and meet sales goals.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.


Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Range: $25 – $28 per hour, based on experience.

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, onsite in Garland, TX.

  • Conversion Benefits: Upon permanent hire, eligible for bonus and commission opportunities.
