Inside Sales Opportunity (Machine Shop Exp. Needed)

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Looking for an experienced Sales Manager for a CNC machining company. Responsible for new business development, managing customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the company’s sales strategy and sales department
• Generate new business through existing relationships, prospecting, calls, emails, networking, and industry events
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat and long-term business
• Manage incoming requests, quote follow-up, and new sales opportunities
• Identify target customers, markets, and opportunities that fit company capabilities
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
• Collaborate with estimating and production to ensure profitable and achievable work
• Establish and track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics
• Recruit, train, and lead additional sales personnel as the department grows

Qualifications

• At least five years previous experience in CNC machining or precision contract manufacturing
• Proven experience leading or building a manufacturing sales function
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, engineering drawings, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
• Proven history of generating new accounts and profitable manufacturing revenue
• Experience with CRM and sales pipeline management

Hours are:

Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm

The salary is

$60 - $80K based on experience with 1% to 2% net sales for commission
