What You'll Do
As a key member of the inside sales team, you'll own the sales cycle from inquiry to close:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
- Generate bids and proposals using modern quoting software
- Interpret project details and recommend solutions that meet customer needs
- Manage and actively follow up on 250+ open bids, driving them toward close
- Compete and win business by positioning value against competitors
- Partner with outside sales reps to support project success and share insights
- Maintain a disciplined follow-up system to ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks
What You Bring
- 2+ years of inside sales experience (construction, building materials, or manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage high-volume pipelines with exceptional accuracy
- Strong communication skills-you're confident, clear, and customer-focused
- A results-driven mindset with persistence to follow up and close deals
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience reading blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Familiarity with estimating or takeoff software
- Exposure to architectural or construction documentation
