    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Inside Sales Representative to support and grow our presence within the data center market. This role is responsible for driving revenue by managing inbound and outbound sales activities, supporting key accounts, and partnering closely with field sales and channel partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical products and power distribution solutions used in data center infrastructure.

    A Day In The Life

    • Support of the data center vertical market field sales team
    • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the data center vertical market
    • Develop and manage relationships with data center operators, colocation providers, hyperscalers, OEM's EPCs, (Engineering, Procurement & Construction firms), and electrical contractors.
    • Respond to inbound inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow through to close opportunities.
    • Maintain an active pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Serve as a subject matter resource for electrical solutions including wiring devices, strain relief, support grips, boxes, fittings, enclosures cable management, and related infrastructure.
    • Review project drawings, specifications, and BOMs to ensure accuracy in proposals.
    • Stay informed on trends in hyperscale, colocation, edge computing, and AI-driven data center growth.
    • Understand customer priorities such as uptime, redundancy (N+1, 2N), energy efficiency, and scalability.
    • Position products and solutions based on mission-critical performance requirements.

    What will help you thrive in this role?

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 2-5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in electrical manufacturing or industrial sales.
    • Experience supporting or selling into the data center, power distribution, or mission-critical infrastructure space.
    • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.

    Preferred

    • Knowledge of UL standards, electrical codes, and data center design principles.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce
    • Experience working with electrical contractors, distributors, and consulting engineers.
    • Exposure to hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
