Job Purpose

Inside Sales Representatives are part of the Central Ordering team and are responsible for assisting customers and Herc sales reps to ensure prompt responses to all inquiries, delivering exceptional customer experience in a dynamic, multi-channel support setting.

As an ISR you handle all facets of inbound requests, including understanding Herc Rentals' processes, cross-selling and upselling related equipment, providing accurate and timely equipment quotes and reservations, follow-ups to account for the close ratio, outbound calls and revenue growth, supporting both internal sales reps and external customers. All tasks are performed while complying with established SLA's and guidelines. This position is critical to the success of the Region's continued growth in account retention and revenue generation.

What you will do...

• · Process all incoming calls and provide industry leading customer service.
• Record all customer interactions in Sales Force as per standard procedures.
• Meet and/or exceed reservation close ratio goals.
• Maintain and manage customer contacts in Sales Force to include future follow-up to grow revenue.
• Provide customers with expert guidance on the selection of various types of equipment.
• Deliver consistent, efficient, and effective customer service across multiple channels.
• Ability to work individually in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with outside sales reps to gain new customers.
• Collaborate with outside sales reps to maintain and grow existing customers.
• Execute specific sales initiatives as they are developed and executed.
• Monday through Friday. Must be able to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00am and 5:30pm.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-3 years' customer service experience required. Inbound telephone sales experience preferred.
• Self-Starter and results oriented.
• Type minimum 30wpm.
• Sales and negotiation skills preferred.
• Customer service resolution practices.
• High School Diploma/GED required. College degree preferred.

Pay Range: $26.45- $29.45 per hour
