Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Houston team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and can confidently support customers with technical products.
Candidates with experience in electrical equipment, power distribution, or industrial products are strongly preferred.
Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 annually
What You'll Do
- Manage incoming customer inquiries while providing excellent service and product support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions, particularly related to electrical equipment and systems
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting and follow-up
- Support Outside Sales and collaborate with internal teams
- Work closely with Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Operations to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate customer records
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Assist with inventory coordination and basic project management
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of inside sales experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with electrical equipment, power distribution, or industrial products strongly preferred
- Ability to quickly learn technical products and support customer applications

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT as needed)
- Location: Houston, TX
- Minimal travel required
