We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Ocala, FL. This is a fast-paced, relationship-focused sales role responsible for customer retention, customer growth, and generating new business opportunities within the market.
What You'll Do
As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in growing our customer base while building strong relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities Include:
Retaining, growing, and selling commercial waste and recycling services
Working closely with Outside Sales Representatives to maintain and expand customer relationships
Proactively prospecting, networking, and generating new business opportunities
Preparing proposals, bids, and weekly sales activity reports
Cold calling prospective customers and following up on leads
Managing customer accounts and contract renewals
Gathering contract expiration information and identifying growth opportunities
Working cross-functionally to resolve customer concerns and service issues
Processing service requests, contract documentation, account updates, and customer changes
Representing Waste Connections at business events, trade shows, networking opportunities, and community organizations
Delivering exceptional customer service that builds long-term customer loyalty
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience preferred
Customer retention and relationship management experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a high-volume sales environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong computer proficiency and CRM experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
