Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate Range: $39.00 - $44.74/hr. on W2.
 
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
Duties:
  • Seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISS) to support the Substance 3D business within ****'s Creative & Professional portfolio. This role is responsible for executing transactional sales motions, including renewals, add-ons, true-ups, and expansion deals under $50K, while partnering closely with Substance Specialists, CSMs and Solution Consultants.
  • The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in protecting run-rate revenue, accelerating deal execution, and ensuring operational rigor across the sales lifecycle.
  • This role is highly cross-functional and requires strong commercial judgment, disciplined deal execution, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, specialist-led enterprise sales model.
  • This is a non quota bearing, execution focused contract role designed to support transactional sales activity for Substance 3D.
  • The ISS (Contract) does not own strategic account relationships, commercial strategy, or quota carrying responsibilities. Instead, the role partners closely with Substance Specialists and CSMs to execute defined sales motions, protect run rate revenue, and ensure operational excellence across renewals and incremental expansions under established thresholds.
  • All deals exceeding transactional scope, requiring non standard commercial terms, or involving strategic expansion planning are escalated to the Substance Sales Specialist and management.
Sales Execution & Revenue Ownership:
  • Own and execute transactional sales motions for Substance 3D across new business, add-ons, expansions, renewals, and true ups under the established $50K deal threshold.
  • Partner with the Substance Sales Specialist on territory planning.
  • Manage all non-strategic renewals and incremental expansions, ensuring customer access continuity and revenue protection.
  • Drive timely opportunity progression, maintain momentum, and execute approved pricing and deal structures.
  • Maintain deal hygiene, including opportunity accuracy, forecasting discipline, and CRM data integrity.
  • Ensure quotes, approvals, and order processing are executed accurately and on time.
  • Own transactional forecasting inputs and contribute to run-rate reporting.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
  • Partner closely with Substance Specialists to ensure transactional activity aligns with broader account strategies and expansion plans.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) on renewal and expansion motions, ensuring clean handoffs and continuity across the customer lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Solution Consultants as needed for assistance with industry-based demo materials.
  • Proactively identify deals or accounts where strategic complexity, automation scope, or spend exceeds the transactional threshold, and escalate to the appropriate Specialist owner.
  • Support clean opportunity qualification and disqualification to protect Specialist capacity and customer experience.
 
Skills:
  • Proven experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success, ideally within SaaS, 3D, creative tools, or subscription-based models
  • Strong understanding of transactional sales motions, including renewals, expansions, and license management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and urgency.
  • Close attention to detail with the ability to operate within structured sales processes and escalation models.
  • Comfortable operating in a specialist-led sales environment, partnering across sales, customer success, and technical teams.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to manage customer conversations related to pricing, renewals, and contract execution.
  • Key Performance Indicators:
  • Timely execution of assigned renewals to prevent lapses, unplanned downtime, or risk to Substance ARR
  • On-time closure of in-scope renewals, add-ons, and true-ups
  • High CRM, quoting, and order accuracy.
  • Consistent execution of approved incremental transactions under defined thresholds (<$50k)
  • Timely, accurate escalation of out-of-scope or complex deals to the appropriate Specialist owner
