Inside Sales Representative- Austin, TX

Location: Austin, TX

Reports to: Branch Manager
Purpose: Provide excellent customer service to walk-in and phone customers and have an advanced understanding of the floorcovering industry and our products

 

Responsibilities may include:
• Providing customer service to walk-in customers
• Taking orders over the phone and answering product questions
• Monitoring fax and email orders coming in from customers
• Communicating with outside sales people on arranging customer orders and deliveries
• Communicating with warehouse personnel on a daily basis and providing assistance if needed
• Managing UPS shipments of products
• Assisting in the daily sales close out
• Checking in and logging storage materials
• Checking stock with different manufacturers
• Eventually assisting with ordering product/ managing stock levels
• Transferring product from main warehouse in Dallas and other branches to complete orders
• Doing special manufacturer orders and keeping up with required paperwork

 

Ideal Qualities:
• Familiar with the floor covering industry and products ( production home building knowledge a plus) 
• Customer service background
• Excellent phone skills
• Ability to learn about large amount of products in a short time
• Proficient computer skills
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Desire to learn quickly and think outside the box to problem solve and acquire solutions and information for customers and sales team
• Hard worker that is willing to put in extra effort to ensure our customers are satisfied
• Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
• Works well with others and is a team player
• Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
