Inside Sales Representative

A century-old, family-owned Western New York manufacturer is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join a close-knit team. This is a company where more than half the staff has been here five-plus years — because it's genuinely a good place to work!

What you'll do:

• Handle inbound customer calls and emails — pricing, delivery times, product information
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Enter orders and manage purchasing
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Maintain CRM and product database records
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Provide technical guidance on products and troubleshoot equipment issues
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Work directly with the shop team to solve problems and build relationships
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Contribute to team-based sales goals
• \n

\n

\n

What you'll bring:

\n

\n

• \n
• The ability to stay calm and solve problems with a frustrated customer on the phone
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Basic mechanical curiosity — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable around industrial equipment
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Comfort with Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM systems
• \n

\n

\n

• \n
• Bonus (not required): a college degree, or prior exposure to pumps or industrial equipment
• \n

\n

\n

Compensation & benefits: $40,000–$45,000 base salary. This role includes team-based commission with no cap — paid monthly, split across the sales team — plus a quarterly bonus tied to performance.

\n

Realistic year-one total earnings, including commission, run around $55,000-$60,000+.

\n

\n
