We are seeking candidates for a Inside Sales Representative opportunity with our manufacturing client in Canonsburg, PA. Candidates must possess a strong technical acumen and attention to detail. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Increase sales within the assigned territory and customers.
Review and interpret customer requirements and answer questions received by phone, email or fax.
Perform sizing calculations and select appropriate product.
Prepare quotations for customers in accordance with project specification sample quotation or information provided by representatives.
Be main point of contact for customers within the assigned territory.
Ensure that all departments are aware of any special orders or requirements.
Proactively work with Regional Sales Managers to secure new business, address issues, and get customers the information that is needed.
Interact with Engineering, Customer Service and Manufacturing departments to obtain information as required to answer customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Follow-up with customer to secure order or determine status of opportunity (won or loss).
Serve as intermediary between factory and representatives for quotations and technical information.
Respond to resubmittal comments when quotations were provided to customers.
Assist Customer Service department throughout Order Entry process by answering questions as they arise.
Input data into the CRM system.
Other tasks deemed necessary by Management.
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or a related field
3- 5+ years' experience in Applications, Customer Service or Inside Sales
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Proficient in Word and Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Ability to read and comprehend basic electrical drawings
