Waste Connections, Inc. is looking for a Inside Sales Representative to join our GROWING Charlotte, NC market area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Communicate effectively over email and phone with customers.
+ Respond to customer inquiries- via phone and email to resolve customer issues.
+ Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements, resolve issues, or complaints.
+ Sufficient understanding of RMO and ARES, preferred.
+ Coordinate the setup and installation of new accounts.
+ Creates and closes out work orders.
+ Analyze accountancy activity and suggest opportunities for service improvements to the customer.
+ Maintain appropriate documentation, per company policy and internal controls.
+ Reconcile customer balances and perform customer audits.
+ Understand customers’ aging balances and our local collections policy.
+ Reach out to Broker Accounts with any past due balances
+ Understand broker contract language such as, price increases, terms and conditions, service increases/decreases.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly explain products and services to customers.
+ Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience working with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is a plus.
+ Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
+ Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively.
+ Comfortable making outbound calls and handling inbound sales inquiries.
+ Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
+ Prior inside sales, customer service, or call center experience preferred.
+ Physical ability: Able to complete sedentary work requiring prolonged sitting, able to complete repetitive motions such as typing/mouse use/operating a phone, ability to look at a screen for long periods of time, tolerate exposure to typical call center sounds and wearing a headset.
