Inside Sales Representative – E-Commerce (In-Office, Phone-Based Sales)

In-Office – Manalapan, New Jersey

Schedule:
Full-Time, In-Office
Standard business hours (occasional flexibility based on business needs)

Pay:
$25.00 per hour + Commission (based on experience and performance)

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative – E-Commerce is responsible for driving revenue by following up with online customers, handling inbound and outbound calls, and guiding customers through the purchasing process.

This role focuses on phone-based sales, customer engagement, and converting interest into completed orders.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with online customer inquiries and sales leads
  • Conduct inbound and outbound phone sales conversations
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and interests
  • Close sales and support customers through the purchasing process
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups
  • Work closely with the e-commerce team to improve conversion rates
  • Assist with general sales and customer engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in sales, retail, customer service, or call center roles
  • Strong communication and phone skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and close sales
  • Comfortable working in a performance-based environment
  • Reliable with consistent work history

Preferred

  • Inside sales or phone-based selling experience
  • E-commerce, retail, or online sales experience
  • Experience using CRM or customer tracking systems
  • Strong follow-up and organization skills
