As an Inside Sales Representative, you will manage a high-volume pipeline where the average sales cycle is 3–6 minutes. If you thrive on "Speed-to-Lead" and possess the "grit" to manage a constant flow of inbound opportunities, this is your career move. With over 1200 inbound calls every month, there is always someone to help and an easy sale to be made.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Pipeline Management: Respond quickly to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries to quote prices and close the sale.
  • Solution-Based Selling: Help contractors, machine shops, and DIYers identify the exact metal solutions, shapes, and grades they need.
  • Software Mastery: Follow our processes and lead tracking within our sales systems to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Sales Mathematics: Perform precise calculations for custom cuts, weight, and pricing to provide instant, accurate quotes.
  • Collaborative Growth: Partner with the shop and logistics teams to ensure "winning" service from the first call to final delivery.

Qualifications & Candidate Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: 1–2+ years of experience in sales, counter sales, customer service, or account management (experience in industrial supply, hardware, automotive, or construction is a major plus, but not required). High volume sales environments experience is preferred.
  • Sales Funnel Expertise: Confident phone presence and the ability to follow our process and systems to help our customers and complete your sales.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to learn our inventory software and navigate a computer quickly while on the phone.
  • Analytical Skill: Proficiency in "sales math," including fractions, decimals, and basic industrial measurements.
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent professional sales training preferred.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish language and writing skills are a plus.
