We're growing rapidly and are looking for a motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to expand our presence in the healthcare professional market by building strong relationships, educating practitioners, and accelerating product adoption through phone, email, and virtual engagement.

In this remote, phone- and video-based role, you will drive sales results by opening new relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), clinics, and wellness centers, supporting and growing the practices you serve, and partnering with our regional sales team to grow your territory. You'll be a trusted partner to practitioners, connecting microbiome science to practical patient outcomes while consistently delivering on ambitious growth targets.

Your key responsibilities in this role

Sales Growth & New Account Development

• Prospect, identify, and open new HCP accounts through proactive outbound outreach.
• Identify and qualify leads to support territory growth.
• Drive sales through phone calls, virtual meetings, and web-based product presentations.
• Manage a high volume of daily customer conversations, including outbound prospecting and inbound inquiries.
• Execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Meet activity and performance goals set by management each year, including call, meeting, lead qualification, and account growth targets.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals.
• Support reorders, retention, and product expansion with existing customers.
• Conduct regular follow-ups and provide ongoing education and support.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on microbiome health solutions.

Product Expertise & Market Knowledge

• Develop deep knowledge of Microbiome Labs' product portfolio and stay current on industry trends.
• Deliver compelling virtual product presentations and clinical discussions.
• Support virtual educational events and webinars.

Data-Driven Sales Execution

• Track and analyze sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate activity and account records in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the regional sales team and internal partners to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What You'll Need to Be Successful in this Role

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, including phone-based or inside sales, preferably in healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industries.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong hunter mentality with a proactive approach to identifying, pursuing, and closing new business.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain and educate on scientific concepts with clarity and credibility.
• Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage your time and priorities in a remote environment.
• Comfort with high-volume phone and video outreach and CRM-driven workflows.
• Must reside in the Central or Eastern time zone.
• Dedicated home workspace with reliable high-speed internet.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

• Experience selling to or working closely with clinics, wellness centers, and healthcare practitioners.
• Comfort presenting clinical or scientific content over video.
• Strong interest in microbiome science, gut health, or evidence-based wellness solutions.
• Experience leveraging CRM insights to improve pipeline health, account planning, and forecast accuracy.

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

• Remote (Home-Based): Work from your home office within the Central or Eastern time zone to align with customer calling hours.
• Travel: Minimal, limited to occasional training or company meetings.
• Customer Engagement: Primarily phone, email, and video, with a mix of new business development and ongoing customer support.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 + uncapped monthly bonus
