Role Description The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Rapids, MI. This role focuses on managing inbound and outbound sales activities, including responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and following up on opportunities. The Inside Sales Representative will build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, identify new sales opportunities, and support the outside sales team as needed. Daily responsibilities include qualifying leads, recommending products and services, processing orders, and ensuring timely communication with customers. The role also involves collaborating with operations and customer service to meet customer requirements and contribute to overall sales growth.

• Demonstrated Inside Sales experience, including managing phone and email inquiries and closing orders.

• Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a commitment to responsive, solutions-oriented support.

• Proficiency in Lead Generation and prospecting activities to identify and nurture new business opportunities.

• Experience with Account Management, including maintaining relationships and growing revenue with existing customers.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or product information clearly.

• Comfort using ERP systems/order entry software, and basic office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.

• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, and management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.

• Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sales is beneficial but not required.
