The Inside Sales Representative II serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, delivering high-quality customer experience while driving sales growth and account development. This role builds and maintains strong customer relationships through proactive communication, professional service, and a solutions-oriented approach to ensure retention and revenue expansion.

This position owns a portfolio of accounts, identifies growth opportunities, and executes disciplined follow-up strategies to drive pipeline activity and account performance. The role leverages CRM tools, collaborates cross-functionally, and supports operational excellence to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.

This position supports Rheem Northeast Distribution located in New Jersey. This is an on-site position, based at one of our offices in the area - exact location to be determined.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field highly preferred. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 3+ years of HVAC industry or related experience

  • 3+ years of sales, sales support, or related experience

  • Experience working with order management systems or CRM systems

  • Strong customer service skills and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain products and processes, negotiate, and resolve conflicts.

  • Strong active listening skills and effective problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and take appropriate action.

  • Knowledge in HVAC product offerings, equipment pairings, and technical terminology.

  • Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to grow accounts and drive revenue

  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and business impact of margin decisions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with urgency and organization

  • High level of accountability, ownership, and independent decision-making

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM tools, and digital platforms

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable with a continuous learning mindset

The pay scale for this position $65,900- $113,940. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.

  • Support sales initiatives and provide insights on customer trends and opportunities

  • Participate in ongoing product and sales training

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
