The A Maxie Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated, high-energy Inside Sales Representative to join our growing insurance agency. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients. Your primary mission will be to make outbound calls, introduce our comprehensive insurance solutions (Auto, Home, Life, or Health), qualify prospects, and schedule high-quality appointments for our licensed insurance agents.

Salary Range: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outbound cold and warm calls daily to prospective clients using our automated dialing system.
  • Lead Qualification: Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to identify their current insurance coverage gaps and assess their overall needs.
  • Appointment Setting: Deliver compelling pitches on our insurance products to secure firm consultation appointments for our licensed sales team.
  • Data Management: Accurately update and maintain client records, call outcomes, and follow-up reminders in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Compliance & Professionalism: Strictly adhere to all insurance industry regulations, company policies, and Do Not Call (DNC) registry rules while representing the brand with integrity.

Requirements
  • Experience: 12 years of experience in telemarketing, inside sales, cold calling, or a customer-facing role is preferred (but we will train the right candidate).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associates or bachelors degree is a plus.
  • Licensing: Optional but preferred. A valid state Property & Casualty (P&C) or Life & Health (L&H) insurance license is highly preferred. (We are willing to sponsor the licensing process for candidates showing exceptional promise).
  • Skills: * Exceptional verbal communication, active listening, and phone etiquette.
  • Strong objection-handling skills with a resilient, positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
