Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in supporting the sales process for fire truck apparatus deals. This position is responsible for managing order intake, coordinating modifications, ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating seamless communication between departments. This role requires high attention to detail, organizational discipline, and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration Support
Develop configuration in collaboration with the respective sales representative.
Utilizing the configuration software for the respective product
Developing proposals in collaboration with the respective sales representative
Order Intake Preparation
Manage intake of initial orders by ensuring all factory-required documents are accurate and complete for timely submission to vendors.
Order Intake & Management
Receive and process orders from prebuilds.
Manage all customer-requested and internal changes throughout the order lifecycle.
Ensure all changes are accurately documented and reflected in the deal.
Change Orders
Coordinate and track all change orders with proper documentation.
Communicate changes to relevant internal departments promptly.
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date folders and deal records in real time.
Ensure all sales documents are complete, organized, and audit ready.
Deal Coordination
Coordinate the inclusion of loose goods and add-ons in truck deals.
Liaise with parts, service, and upfit departments to ensure all components are accounted for and scheduled.
Deal Reconciliation & Handoff
Prepare finalized deal packages for reconciliation.
Coordinate payment tracking and ensure accurate handoff to finance (Nichol) once deals are complete.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or customer service (preferred in a technical or equipment sales environment).
