Inside Sales Representative

Position Purpose Inside Sales Representatives sell our Company's full line of distribution products to our customers via phone and counter sales, and maximize profits through their knowledge, customer service, and professionalism.  Essential FunctionsDetermines customer's needs and recommends appropriate products and solutionsAccepts payment and applies it to the appropriate customer accountExpedites incoming sales calls, quotes and inquiriesAssists with counter salesArranges product displays and layouts to maximize effectivenessReorders products to keep the store and warehouse shelves stockedAssists other Inside Sales Representatives with other customers and product linesTracks jobs and reports findings to the Vice President of Sales/Location ManagerCoordinates deliveries with dispatchTracks and resolves pricing, credit, and delivery issuesFlexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travelPerforms other necessary functions as assigned Qualifications NecessaryKnowledge 1-3 years related experience in construction sales preferredSome college education preferredAbility and desire to learn about new products and servicesComfortable with learning and using new technologiesSufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite InterpersonalA positive attitude and the ability to maintain professional, long-term co-worker, customer, vendor, and business relationshipsService-oriented and a dedication to win customers 'for life'Strong professional verbal and written communications skillsAbility to work effectively across all levels of managementDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneous projects, and conflicting deadlinesAn innovative approach to resolving problems and delivering resultsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
