Account Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client who is working with a Distribution company in Overland Park who is seeking an Account Coordinator. This position will play a key role in driving revenue by building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities within an assigned customer base. This position focuses on proactive outreach, solution?based selling, and consistent follow?through to support both new and existing accounts. Success in this role comes from combining product knowledge, communication skills, and a customer?first mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiating outbound contact with prospective and current customers to generate sales opportunities
  • Developing an in?depth understanding of company products and services to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Managing a pipeline of accounts to encourage repeat business and long?term partnerships
  • Working cross?functionally with internal teams such as marketing, purchasing, finance, and account management to support customer needs
  • Evaluating territory performance and identifying strategies to increase revenue
  • Providing timely, professional responses to customer inquiries and requests
  • Discussing pricing, timelines, and service options while aligning with company guidelines
  • Acting as a trusted advisor by sharing relevant industry insights and product updates
  • Organizing daily activities to ensure efficient use of time and consistent outreach
  • Creating and delivering quotes and proposals tailored to customer requirements
  • Partnering with field sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay current on offerings and sales techniques
  • Contributing to promotional programs and sales initiatives
  • Meeting or exceeding individual performance expectations related to calls, sales, and revenue goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Previous experience in sales, inside sales, or customer?focused roles (approximately 24 years)
  • Strong consultative selling and problem?solving abilities
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and standard business software
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Reliable attendance and active participation in meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain a consistent volume of outbound sales activity each day
  • Achieve monthly sales goals aligned with historical performance benchmarks
  • Respond to customer communications within one business day
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively
  • Use company systems and reporting tools daily to track performance and activity
  • Represent the organization professionally in all external communications

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
